The Best (and Worst) Children's Books of 2008

I have to nominate the best children's Book to be "A Day With My Dad" by Lance Waite. Amazing pictures, story, and grabs the attention of all children better than most other books.

Thanks for the tip, Melissa. I haven't seen that one yet so will check it out. One of my favourites this year is Shaun Tan's Tales from Outer Suburbia. It would be good to hear what other people's favourites are. Will get us in the mood for the Best and Worst event in late November, which is always lots of fun.

Have you checked out LOATHING LOLA by William Kostakis? It was the success story of my school library last term. The girls really connected with it.
