When shown a picture of a farm and asked to describe what he saw he said &#39;sheep&#39; or &#39;grass&#39;. What the testers wanted him to say was &#39;white, fluffy sheep&#39;.<br />He was a 6-year-old boy - show him a picture of a train. Or a dinosaur. Ask him questions about that...<br />Once he figured out that reading would give him a way to find information on things he was interested in - he was away.
